MWAKIBETE AWATAKA NIT KUONGEZA KOZI USAFIRI WA ANGA

Serikali imekitaka Chuo cha Taifa cha Usafirishaji (NIT), kuhakikisha kinakamilisha taratibu za kupata ithibati na kuanza kufundisha kozi ya usafiri wa anga ili kuiwezesha sekta hiyo kuwa na idadi kubwa ya wataalam wanaoendana na ukuaji wa teknolojia nchini.

Akizungumza wakati akifungua mafunzo maalum kwa Baraza la 12 la Uongozi wa Chuo hicho yanayofanyika mkoani Tanga, Naibu Waziri wa Uchukuzi, Atupele Mwakibete, amesema kuanza kwa kozi hizo kutaenda sambamba na kasi ya Serikali inayofanya kwenye ununuzi wa ndege nchini.

“Serikali inaendelea kununua ndege na ikumbukwe kuwa ndege hizi ni mpya hivyo uwepo wa ndege hizi bila kuwa na wataalam wa kutosha na chuo hiki tunacho hatutakuwa tunatenda haki, hivyo mjitahidi mwaka huu kozi zianze”, amesema Naibu Waziri Mwakibete.

Naibu Waziri Mwakibete ameeleza umuhimu wa Baraza hilo kuhakikisha maslahi ya watumishi yanazingatiwa ili kutoa motisha kwa uzalishaji wa wataalam wenye weledi na sifa kwa ajili ya soko la ndani na nje ya nchi.

Aidha, Naibu Waziri Mwakibete ameuhakikishia uongozi wa NIT kuwa Serikali itaendelea kuboresha Chuo hicho kwa kukiwezesha kwenye miundombinu ili kiweze kuzalisha wataalam wa kutosha kwenye njia zote za usafirishaji ikiwemo maji, anga na nchi kavu.

Naye Mkurugenzi Msaidizi Utawala Hamid Mbegu, amesema Wizara imeendelea kuhakikisha chuo kinapata Baraza kwa wakati ili kutoathiri utendaji wake kwani Baraza hilo lina maamuzi kwa maendeleo ya chuo.

NIT WAISHUKURU SERIKALI KWA KUPATIWA NDEGE MBILI ZA MAFUNZO YA ANGA

April 16, 2024, 11 p.m.

CHUO cha Taifa cha usafirishaji (NIT) kimeishukuru serikali kwa ndege mbili ilizokabidhiwa jana na   kimesema kipo katika hatua za mwisho za  kuanza kutoa mafunzo ya Urubani kwa garama nafuu ya ya asilimia 50 ulilinganisha na vyuo vya nje. 
 
Hayo yamesemwa jana jijini Dar es Salaami na Profesa Zacharia Mganilwa, Mkuu wa chuo cha NIT wakati wa mapokezi ya ndege ya abiria ya ATCL aina ya Boeing 737-MAX9 pamoja na  uzinduzi wa ndege mbili aina ya Cessna Skyhawk za mafunzo ya Urubani kwa chuo hicho cha NIT
 
Amesema, NIT itatoza USD 48,000 sawa na Sh. Milioni 120.4 ambayo ni sawa na nusu ya garama ya mafunzo ya urubani nje ya nchi  ambayo yanagarimu USD 100,000 ambazo ni sawa na Sh. Milioni 200 hadi 300
 
Mpaka sasa mafunzo ya Urubani yanaonekana kuwa ni taaluma ya watoto wa matajiri tu, lakini je Tanzania kuna matajiri wangapi, ila pia serikali kutoendelea kutoa ufadhili wa mafunzo ya urabani na uhandisi kwa muda mrefu imekuwa pia ikipunguza wanafunzi kusomea fani ya Urubani. Amesema Prof. Mganilwa. 
 
Amesema, kumekuwepo na uhaba wa wataalamu wa sekta ya anga wakiwemo marubani jambo linalopelekea serikali kuajiri wataalamu kutoka nje ya nchi. 
 
"Takwimu zilizopo zinaonyesha kuwa, wenye leseni ya biashara Katika eneo la usafiri wa anga waliosajiliwa ni 551 ambapo kati yao wageni ni 352 sawa na asilimia 64 na  wazawa ni asilimia 36.
 
Aidha uongozi wa  NIT,  wakufunzi na marubani wanafunzi wameaswa kuzitunza ndege hizo ili ziweze kudumu na kuendelea kufundishia marubani walio wengi zaidi.

MPANGO AITAKA BODI YA NIT KUHAKIKISHA NDEGE ZA MAFUNZO ZINATUNZWA

MAKAMU wa Rais wa Tanzania Dk Philip Mpango ameielekeza Bodi ya Uongozi ya Chuo cha Taifa cha Usafirishaji (NIT) kuhakikisha ndege za mafunzo zilizonunuliwa na serikali kwa fedha nyingi zinatunzwa vizuri na kuzingatia masuala ya usalama.

Mpango ameyasema hayo leo mkoani Dar es Salaam wakati wa mapokezi ya ndege mpya Boeing 737 Max 9 na kukabidhi ndege mbili za mafunzo kwa Chuo cha Taifa cha Usafirishaji (NIT).

Amesema ili kuongeza ufanisi wa NIT katika kutoa mafunzo ya urubani mwezi Juni mwaka huu Serikali imewezesha chuo hicho kuingia mkataba wa ununuzi wa ndege moja mpya ya mafunzo yenye injini mbili.

“Ndege hiyo inatarajiwa kuwasili katika robo ya tatu ya mwaka wa fedha ujao 2024/2025, niielekeze bodi ya uongozi wa NIT hakikisheni mnazitunza ndege hizi ili ziweze kutumiwa na wanafunzi wengi Zaidi katika mafunzo,” amesema

Naye Mkuu wa Chuo cha NIT, Profesa Zacharia Mganilwa amesema gharama ya kusomea Urubani nje ya nchi ni kubwa hivyo ni moja ya kikwazo cha kupata marubani wengi hapa nchini.

“Gharama ya kusoma urubani nje ya nchi ni Sh. Milioni zaidi ya 300 hivyo watanzania wengi hawawezi kumudu gharama hiyo, ujuio wa ndege hizi mbili za mafunzo zitawezesha mafunzo hayo kutolewa hapa nchini kwa gharama za Sh. Milioni 74,” amesema Prof. Mganilwa

Aidha amesema ndege hizo mbili mpya walizopatiwa na Serikali kila moja inauwezo wa kubeba watu wanne na zitatumika kutoa mafunzo ya awali na ya biashara.
